We are delighted to announce that we have won a Green Apple Award for our work on the Hainault Ancient Forest restoration project. We acted as the lead consultants on this project and are extremely proud to have won an award for the work we did on this amazing forest and visitor centre restoration. Work started on this project back in 2017 and was completed earlier this year, including a complete renovation of the visitor centre buildings, conservation and rewilding of the surrounding woodland, and a new bespoke playground. It was a pleasure to be a part of the history of this vast and ancient woodland and create space for people to enjoy it for years to come. Special thanks to Vision – Redbridge Culture & Leisure, The Woodland Trust, Garfield Weston Foundation, National Lottery Heritage Fund and all who were involved in completing this project to the high level at which it now stands. The award ceremony will be held on the 20th of November, where we will find out whether we have won gold, silver or bronze for our work on the project.
