We are working with the South Downs National Park Authority on the redesign of the carparks at Seven Sisters Country Park in Sussex. This historic area in the South Downs National Park is a unique and stunning landscape, much loved by visitors and local residents, and is home to chalk cliffs, a meandering river valley and rare chalk grassland habitat. We are working to help redesign both car parks at the country park, with an emphasis on making the parking areas more accessible for those with disabilities or who have mobility issues, while increasing biodiversity and using ecologically friendly practices. We will also be using sustainable and locally sourced materials that will fit in with the local character of the area and reusing excavated materials on site to reduce the carbon footprint of the project, where possible. The possibility of electronic vehicle charging points is also being considered.
